Tolls-miscellaneous provisions

PART III

TOLLS, PERMITS AND EXEMPTIONS

(1) If a person pays the toll by tendering one or more toll tickets and the
amount paid exceeds the appropriate toll, he is not entitled to a refund or to
have the excess returned to him, by cash or otherwise, whether at the time of
payment or subsequently.

(2) If a person tenders an amount in excess of the appropriate toll at a toll
booth displaying the traffic sign shown as Figure No. 13 in Schedule 1, he is
not entitled to have the excess returned to him, whether at the time of
payment or subsequently.

(3) The Commissioner, or an operator with the approval of the Commissioner,
may specify conditions in respect of the sale and use of the toll tickets.

(4) The Commissioner may by approval in writing allow the use of the Lantau
Link without the payment of the appropriate toll by Government vehicles,
vehicles used by disabled drivers and vehicles used by operators.
