TSING MA CONTROL AREA (GENERAL) REGULATION - SECT 10

Temporary speed limits

(1) Where the Commissioner or an operator considers that there is or likely to
be a risk of danger to the public or of damage to or on any road or structure,
the Commissioner or the operator, as the case may be, may at any time and
without notice, erect or display within the Area, a traffic sign or
light signal of such size, colour and type as he considers appropriate for the
purpose of fixing a temporary speed limit for vehicles using that road.

(2) Where a temporary speed limit is fixed in accordance with subsection (1)
on any road, a person shall not drive a vehicle on that road at a speed in
excess of that speed limit.
