HONG KONG COURT OF FINAL APPEAL RULES - RULE 9

Appointment of dates for hearing

(1) The Registrar shall appoint dates for the hearing of all applications
notices of which have been filed.

(2) In the absence of special urgency, no date shall be appointed for the
hearing of an application before the expiration of 7 days from the day notice
thereof was served on all the parties to the proceedings in the court below,
unless such parties consent to the application being heard earlier.
