HONG KONG COURT OF FINAL APPEAL RULES - RULE 74

Service of documents

(Past version on 01/07/1997).

(1) Subject to subrule (2), service of any document under these Rules may be
effected in any manner provided by the Rules of the Supreme Court ( Cap 4 sub.
leg.) for the service of documents. (L.N. 416 of 1997)

(2) An application for leave to appeal and a Notice of Appeal shall be served
in the manner prescribed in Order 10 of the Rules of the Supreme Court ( Cap 4
sub. leg.) for service of originating process. (L.N. 416 of 1997)

(3) Where any document is required by these Rules to be served on a party to
the proceedings in the court below, service may be effected on the solicitor
on record for the party in that court.
