HONG KONG COURT OF FINAL APPEAL RULES - RULE 52

Appointment of date for hearing of application

(1) As soon as an application and all necessary documents in support thereof
are filed the Registrar shall appoint a date for the hearing of the
application.

(2) In the absence of special urgency, no date shall be appointed for the
hearing of an application, before the expiration of 10 days from the day of
the filing thereof, unless all parties thereto consent to the application
being heard earlier.
