HONG KONG COURT OF FINAL APPEAL RULES - RULE 24

Filing of Case

PART VII

CASE

(1) No party to an appeal may be heard by the Court unless he has previously
filed his Case.

(2) Notwithstanding subrule (1) a Respondent who does not wish to file a Case
may give the Registrar notice in writing of his intention not to file any Case
while reserving his right to address the Court on the question of costs.
