AIRPORT AUTHORITY (AUTOMATED PEOPLE MOVER) (SAFETY) REGULATION - SECT 11
Prohibition of the opening of automated people mover until inspector confirms that it is safe for public use

For the saving and transitional provisions relating to the amendments made by
the Resolution of the Legislative Council (L.N. 130 of 2007), see paragraph
(12) of that Resolution. The Authority shall not-
(a) open the automated people mover for public use;
(b) operate any new part of the automated people mover for conveyance of
passengers;
(c) operate any extension, new line or new station;
(d) divert any existing line; or
(e) add any major facilities, new technology or major modifications that
have an adverse impact on the safety of the automated people mover,
until an inspector has notified the Secretary for Transport and
Housing and the Authority in writing that the automated people mover,
its new part, new extension, new line or new station, diversion of
existing line, major facilities, new technology or major modifications
