MERCHANT SHIPPING (SEAFARERS) (SHIPS' DOCTORS) REGULATION - SECT 4

Offence

The owner and the master of any Hong Kong ship who authorizes or permits the
ship to go to sea in contravention of section 2, whether or not the ship so
goes, commits an offence and is liable-

   (a)  on conviction upon indictment, to a fine at level 6 and to
        imprisonment for 2 years;

   (b)  on summary conviction, to a fine at level 3 and to imprisonment for 2
        years. (Enacted 1995)
