RESIDENTIAL CARE HOMES (ELDERLY PERSONS) REGULATION - SECT 20

Height

(1) Subject to subsection (2), no part of a residential care home shall be
situated at a height more than 24 m above the ground floor, measuring
vertically from the ground of the building to the floor of the premises in
which the residential care home is to be situated.

(2) The Director may by notice in writing served on an operator authorize that
any part of such residential care home may be situated at a height more than
24 m above the ground floor as may be indicated in the notice. (Enacted 1995)
