RESIDENTIAL CARE HOMES (ELDERLY PERSONS) REGULATION - SECT 19

Location

PART VI

LOCATION AND DESIGN OF RESIDENTIAL CARE HOMES

No residential care home shall be situated in any part of-

   (a)  an industrial building; or

   (b)  any premises the floor of which is immediately over the ceiling or
        immediately below the floor slab of any-

        (i)    godown;

        (ii)   cinema;

        (iii)  theatre; or

        (iv)   premises wherein any trade which, in the opinion of the
               Director, may pose a risk to the life or safety of the
               residents is carried on. (Enacted 1995)
