AMUSEMENT RIDES (SAFETY) (OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE) REGULATION - SECT 36

Director's requirements to be made in writing

(1) Where the Director requires that anything be done under any of the
provisions referred to in section 31(b)(ii), 32(b)(ii) or 33(1)(b) or

(2)(b), he shall make the requirement by notice in writing served on the
person to whom the requirement relates, and shall in the notice specify a
period within which the requirement is to be complied with.

(2) No person shall be held to have failed to comply with any requirement
referred to in subsection (1) until the expiration of the period specified in
the requirement or such further period as the Director may allow. (Enacted
