AMUSEMENT RIDES (SAFETY) (OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE) REGULATION - SECT 32

Offences and penalties relating to operators and chief operators

Any-

   (a)  operator who contravenes section 9(3);

   (b)  chief operator who-

        (i)    contravenes section 10(b), 12, 13, 14(2) or (3) or 19(2); or

        (ii)   fails, without reasonable excuse, to comply with a requirement
               of the Director under section 10(a), commits an offence and is
               liable on conviction to the penalty set out in columns 2, 3 and
               4 of Part II of the Schedule opposite the reference to that
               section in column 1 of Part II of the Schedule. (Enacted 1994)
