Offences and penalties relating to surveyors, competent persons and qualified persons

PART IX

OFFENCES AND PENALTIES

Any-

   (a)  surveyor, competent person or qualified person who contravenes
        section 5(5);

   (b)  competent person in respect of an amusement ride who-

        (i)    contravenes section 7(1), (2) or (3), 8(4), 16(1) or (2), 17,
               22, 23(1) or (3) or 24; or

        (ii)   fails, without reasonable excuse, to comply with a requirement
               of the Director under section 7(3), 16(2) or 21(4), commits an
               offence and is liable on conviction to the penalty set out in
               columns 2, 3 and 4 of Part I of the Schedule opposite the
               reference to that section in column 1 of Part I of the
               Schedule. (Enacted 1994)
