AMUSEMENT RIDES (SAFETY) (OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE) REGULATION - SECT 29

Periodic examination of kiddie ride

(1) The owner of a kiddie ride shall ensure that the ride is examined by a
surveyor or qualified person not less than once every 6 months to ascertain
the integrity and safe operation of the ride.

(2) The owner of a kiddie ride shall-

   (a)  ensure that a report of every examination required under this section
        is prepared by the surveyor or qualified person making the
        examination; and

   (b)  permit the Director to inspect and copy such report and afford
        facilities for such inspection or copying as may be reasonably
        required by the Director. (Enacted 1994)
