AMUSEMENT RIDES (SAFETY) (OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE) REGULATION - SECT 28

Certain occurrences to be reported

(1) The owner of a kiddie ride shall forthwith report to the Director-

   (a)  the death of any person occurring in connection with the ride;

   (b)  an injury to any person occurring in connection with the ride that
        requires hospitalization or treatment by medical professionals.

(2) Subsection (1) shall not derogate from a provision in any other enactment
requiring the happening of any occurrence specified in that subsection to be
reported to any person.

(3) Where a kiddie ride has been involved in an occurrence specified in
subsection (1), the Director may-

   (a)  seize any part of the kiddie ride; and

   (b)  detain that part for so long as is reasonably necessary to examine it.
