AMUSEMENT RIDES (SAFETY) (OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE) REGULATION - SECT 13
Prohibited persons
The chief operator on duty when an amusement ride is in operation shall ensure
that there is not carried on the ride-
(a) any person whom he believes or is given reasonable cause to believe is
under the influence of alcohol or drugs;
(b) any person whom he believes or is given reasonable cause to believe is
suffering from a contagious disease;
(c) any person whom he believes or is given reasonable cause to believe
may prejudice the safety of the ride;
(d) any person suffering from physical or mental handicap whom he believes
or is given reasonable cause to believe would be likely to prejudice
the safety of the ride, unless arrangements have been made, with the
approval of the Director, for the carriage of such person; or
(e) any person who is considered unsuitable in accordance with notices
posted pursuant to section 20 at the entrance to the ride. (Enacted
