BOUNDARY AND ELECTION COMMISSION (ELECTORAL PROCEDURE) (FUNCTIONAL CONSTITUENCIES AND ELECTION COMMITTEE CONSTITUENCY) REGULATION - SECT 57

Disposal of ballot papers, etc.

As soon as practicable after the preparation of the notice of result of the
election under section 55(2), the returning officer shall send to the Chief
Electoral Officer-

   (a)  the ballot paper accounts, verifications of the ballot paper  accounts
        and re-verification of the ballot paper accounts;

   (b)  the statement referred to in section 53(6);

   (c)  the sealed packets made up under section 56;

   (d)  the sealed packets made up under section 42(1)(b);

   (e)  a copy of the notice of result of the election; and

   (f)  all-

        (i)    nomination papers and notices of withdrawal of candidature; or

        (ii)   respective notices of appointment of election agents, polling
               agents and counting agents and copies of authorizations of
               election expense agents, received by the returning officer and
               any other document, specified by the Commission and so
               received. (Enacted 1995)
