BOUNDARY AND ELECTION COMMISSION (ELECTORAL PROCEDURE) (FUNCTIONAL CONSTITUENCIES AND ELECTION COMMITTEE CONSTITUENCY) REGULATION - SECT 46

Appointment of counting officers

(1) The Chief Electoral Officer-

   (a)  may appoint as many counting officers as he considers necessary to
        assist a returning officer in conducting a count; and

   (b)  shall provide the returning officer with a list of the names of the
        counting officers appointed to assist him.

(2) The Chief Electoral Officer shall display the list referred to in
subsection (1)(b) in a prominent position within the counting station or
stations, as may be appropriate. (Enacted 1995)
