Unused ballot papers

      (2) The references in this Regulation to an "unused ballot paper" 
shall
be construed as a reference to any ballot paper which has been issued and
not put into the ballot box whether or not it has been endorsed as described
in subsection (1).
(Enacted 1995)

(1) The presiding officer shall endorse the word "UNUSED" and " " on any
ballot paper that has been issued but not put into the ballot box, unless it
is not reasonably practicable to do so.

(2) The references in this Regulation to an "unused ballot paper" shall be
construed as a reference to any ballot paper which has been issued and not put
into the ballot box whether or not it has been endorsed as described in
subsection (1). (Enacted 1995)
