BOUNDARY AND ELECTION COMMISSION (ELECTORAL PROCEDURE) (FUNCTIONAL CONSTITUENCIES AND ELECTION COMMITTEE CONSTITUENCY) REGULATION - SECT 36
Marking of ballot papers

An elector voting in respect of-
(a) the Urban Council functional constituency, the Regional Council
functional constituency or the Rural functional constituency shall
mark his ballot paper in accordance with Part II of Schedule 2; and
(b) a functional constituency other than a constituency referred to in
paragraph (a), in which-
(i) there is only one vacancy, shall indicate his choice of
candidate by marking the ballot paper not more than once;
(ii) there are 2 vacancies, shall mark his ballot paper not more
than twice to indicate his choice of candidate or candidates;
and
(c) the election committee constituency shall mark his ballot paper in
accordance with Part II of Schedule 3. (Enacted 1995)
