BOUNDARY AND ELECTION COMMISSION (REGISTRATION OF ELECTORS) (FUNCTIONAL CONSTITUENCIES AND ELECTION COMMITTEE CONSTITUENCY) REGULATION - SECT 25

Repeal and saving

(1) Regulations 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7(1), (2), (3) and (4), 9, 11, 12, 13, 14,
15(1), (2), (3) and (4), 16, 17, 20A, 21, 22, 23, 24, 27, 28 and 29 of the
Legislative Council (Electoral Provisions) (Registration of 
Electors and Appointment of Authorized Representatives) Regulations ( Cap. 
381 sub. leg.) are repealed.

(2) Notwithstanding subsection (1), anything that was done-

   (a)  pursuant to the regulations repealed by that subsection;

   (b)  in relation to the existing final register in force at the
        commencement of this section; or

   (c)  which was effective immediately before such commencement, shall
        continue to have effect unless and until a power conferred by this
        Regulation is exercised in relation thereto. (Enacted 1994)
