Power of returning officer to delegate

A returning officer may perform any act which he is required or authorized to
perform under this Regulation, other than-

   (a)  the countermanding of an election;

   (b)  a determination as to the validity or otherwise of a nomination paper;

   (c)  a decision regarding a ballot paper; and (L.N. 221 of 1995)

   (d)  (Repealed L.N. 221 of 1995)

   (e)  the declaration of the result of an election, through an assistant
        returning officer appointed under section 23 of the
        Electoral Provisions Ordinance ( Cap. 367). (Enacted 1994)
