BOUNDARY AND ELECTION COMMISSION (ELECTORAL PROCEDURE) (GEOGRAPHICAL CONSTITUENCIES) REGULATION - SECT 50
Ballot papers not to be counted
Caution: This is a past version. See the current version here.
For the purpose of counting the votes, any ballot paper-
(a) on which an elector has given more than one vote;
(b) on which anything is written or marked by which the elector can be
identified;
(c) with the word "TENDERED" and " " endorsed on the front of
it;
(d) with the word "SPOILT" and " " endorsed on the front of it;
(da) which is an unused ballot paper;
(e) which is unmarked;
(f) which the returning officer determines is void for uncertainty; or
(g) which is substantially mutilated, shall not be counted. (Enacted 1994;
