BOUNDARY AND ELECTION COMMISSION (REGISTRATION OF ELECTORS) (GEOGRAPHICAL CONSTITUENCIES) REGULATION - SECT 15

Notice of objection

(1) A person who considers that any other person whose identity card number or
name appears in a provisional register (not being a person whose identity card
number or name is in a list of proposed omissions) is not entitled to be
registered as an elector, or to be registered in the part in which his
identity card number or name appears, may object to the registration of that
person in the final register or that part, by lodging
a notice ("notice of objection") in accordance with subsection (2). (L.N. 586

(2) A notice of objection shall be in the specified form, addressed to the
registration officer, and shall be delivered by the objector himself to the
registration officer on or before 5 July in the year for which the final
register is being compiled. (L.N. 586 of 1994)

(3) The registration officer may require any person who lodges a
notice of objection under this section to identify himself by such means as
the registration officer considers appropriate. (Enacted 1994)
