RABIES REGULATION - SECT 8

Unauthorized conveyance of animals or things into centres

(1) No animal or thing may be taken into a quarantine centre or observation
centre without the permission of an authorized officer or, in the case of a
licensed quarantine or observation centre, the licensee of the centre.

(2) Any animal or thing found in a quarantine centre or observation centre,
which is not permitted by an authorized officer or the licensee of the centre,
as the case may require, to be there, may be seized by an authorized officer.

(3) The Director may order the forfeiture of any animal or thing seized under
subsection (2) in which case it may be retained, destroyed or otherwise
disposed of as he considers appropriate. (Enacted 1994)
