RABIES REGULATION - SECT 27A

Dogs to be implanted with device

(1) An authorized officer may, as evidence that a dog has been vaccinated
against rabies and as a means of identification of the dog, implant in the dog
a device of the description set out in Schedule 3.

(2) Any person other than an authorized officer who implants a device in a dog
purporting to be evidence of vaccination and a means of identification of the
dog commits an offence and is liable to a fine of $10000. (L.N. 466 of 1996)
