MERCHANT SHIPPING (REGISTRATION) (TONNAGE) REGULATIONS - REGULATION 2A

Certifying Authorities

(1) The Director shall be a Certifying Authority for the purposes of these
regulations.

(2) The Director may authorize in writing any person or body to be a
Certifying Authority for the purposes of these regulations.

(3) Any person who or body which was immediately prior to the commencement* of
this regulation authorized by the Director to be a Certifying Authority under
regulation 2 shall on and from such commencement be deemed to be so authorized
by the Director under this regulation.
