MERCHANT SHIPPING (REGISTRATION) (TONNAGE) REGULATIONS - REGULATION 19

Validation of existing certificates

Any International Tonnage certificate issued in respect of a ship for
registration in Hong Kong in accordance with the provisions of the Convention
under the authority of the Government of Hong Kong prior to the coming into
operation of then regulations shall be accepted and regarded for all purposes
as having the same validity as one issued under Part II of these regulations.
