MERCHANT SHIPPING (REGISTRATION) (TONNAGE) REGULATIONS - REGULATION 18
Illegal carriage of goods or stores
If goods or stores are carried in a permanently closed in space on board ship
in contravention of paragraph 17(3) of Schedule 5 hereto the master and the
owner of the ship commit an offence and are each liable to a fine of $5000.
