MERCHANT SHIPPING (REGISTRATION) (FEES AND CHARGES) REGULATIONS - REGULATION 13

Charges for advice and examination of plans

Where the Director consents to survey, tender advice or examine plans in
respect of the structure, machinery or equipment of a ship in so far as such
structure, machinery or equipment is to comply with statutory requirements or
with any other requirements and no fee for such survey, advice or examination
is prescribed, there shall be payable such reasonable sum in respect of such
survey, advice or examination as the Director may agree with the applicant
therefor, having regard to the nature and extent of the work involved.
