MERCHANT SHIPPING (REGISTRATION) (FEES AND CHARGES) REGULATIONS - REGULATION 10

Fees where service not completed

Where, on the application of the owner, demise charterer or agent of a ship,
work on any service in respect of that ship is undertaken by any officer of
the Marine Department and, in consequence of any act of the owner, demise
charterer or agent, such work is abandoned before the completion thereof,
there shall be payable such reasonable sum as the Director may agree with the
applicant, having regard to the nature and extent of the work involved.
