MERCHANT SHIPPING (PREVENTION OF POLLUTION BY SEWAGE) REGULATION - SECT 7
Equivalents
Where this Regulation requires that a particular fitting or equipment shall be
fitted in a ship, the Director may allow any other fitting or equipment to be
fitted in the ship if he is satisfied that such fitting or equipment is at
least as effective as that required by this Regulation.
