Extension of period of validity where ships are on short voyages

Where a Hong Kong ship in respect of which an ISPP Certificate has been issued
is engaged in short voyages and the period of validity of the Certificate has
not been extended under section 13(1) or 15(3), the Director may on the
application of the company or the master of the ship extend the period of
validity of the Certificate for a period of not exceeding 1 month from the
expiry date of the Certificate.
