MERCHANT SHIPPING (SAFETY) (DANGEROUS GOODS AND MARINE POLLUTANTS) REGULATION - SECT 24
Power to detain
In any case where a ship does not comply with the requirements of this
Regulation the ship shall be liable to be detained under the power conferred
by section 117 of the Merchant Shipping (Safety) Ordinance ( Cap 369) or
section 3 of the Merchant Shipping (Prevention and Control of
Pollution) Ordinance ( Cap 413), as the case may be. (Enacted 1994)
