MERCHANT SHIPPING (CONTROL OF POLLUTION BY NOXIOUS LIQUID SUBSTANCES IN BULK) REGULATIONS - REGULATION 26
Equivalents
Where these regulations require that a particular fitting, material, appliance
or apparatus should be fitted in a ship, the Director may allow any other
fitting, material, appliance or apparatus to be fitted if he is satisfied that
such fitting, material, appliance or apparatus is at least as effective as
that required by these regulations. (Enacted 1987)
