ELECTRICITY (REGISTRATION) REGULATIONS - REGULATION 10

Register

(1) The Director shall maintain a register of registered electrical
contractors and a register of registered electrical workers.

(2) The Director shall delete a registration from a register where the
registration is cancelled under the Ordinance.

(3) The Director shall amend the register to indicate a period of suspension
of registration under the Ordinance.

(4) The Director may delete a registration from a register-

   (a)  where the registrant requests that his registration be cancelled; or

   (b)  where the Director, after reasonable effort, has been unable to
        confirm that the registrant-

        (i)    if a worker, is still alive; or

        (ii)   if a contractor, is still carrying on business as an electrical
               contractor.

(5) The Director shall restore to the register a registration deleted under
subregulation (4)(b) where he considers that the deletion was made in error.
