ELECTRICITY SUPPLY (SPECIAL AREAS) REGULATIONS - REGULATION 7
Fire risks and consumer's responsibility
(1) When taking a supply of electricity from a company's meter terminals, the
consumer shall exercise all due precautions so as to avoid risk of causing
fire within the special area.
(2) Any person who contravenes this regulation shall be guilty of an offence
and shall be liable on summary conviction to imprisonment for 3 months and a
fine of $2000.
