ELECTRICITY SUPPLY (SPECIAL AREAS) REGULATIONS - REGULATION 2

Interpretation

(Past version on 30/06/1997).

In these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires-

"company" (公司) means any person or any body of persons corporate or
unincorporate by whom electricity is supplied to a special area;

"company's installation" (公司裝置) means any of a company's plant,
equipment, apparatus, fittings or appliances used for the purposes of
generating transmitting, distributing or supplying electricity to a
special area;

"consumer" (用戶) means a person who has registered with a company for the
supply of electricity by the company within a special area;

"consumer's installation" (用戶裝置) means any consumer's wires and fixed
electrical equipment and apparatus connected to the consumer's wires;

"consumer's wires" (用戶電線) means any electric lines which are connected
to the service lines of a company at the company's meter terminals;

"electricity" (電力) means electricity, electric current or any like agency;

"special area" (特別地區) means a special area designated under section
59(2) of the Ordinance. (L.N. 216 of 1990)
