Penalties for default

PENALTIES

(1) If the company makes default in complying with any of these regulations,
it shall be liable to a penalty of $100 for every such default and in the case
of continuing offence to a further penalty of $100 for each day during which
the offence continues.

(2) The recovery of a penalty under these regulations shall not affect the
liability of the company to make compensation in respect of any damage or
injury which may be caused by reason of the default.
