NOISE CONTROL (HAND HELD PERCUSSIVE BREAKERS) REGULATIONS - REGULATION 2

Interpretation

In these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires-

"hand held percussive breaker" (手提撞擊式破碎機) means any portable
breaker or pick that-

   (a)  has a mass above 10 kg; (80 of 1997 s.102)

   (b)  is designed for percussive operation while held by hand without any
        other form of support; and

   (c)  is driven by electrical, chemical or thermal energy or by energy
        transmitted by compressed air, steam or hydraulic means;

"mass of the breaker" (破碎機機重) means the mass of the
hand held percussive  breaker when it is fitted for normal use but excluding
the supply tube and the chisel;

"noise emission label" (噪音標籤) means a noise emission label issued by
the Authority under regulation 8. (Enacted 1991)

"hand held percussive breaker" (手提撞擊式破碎機)

"mass of the breaker" (破碎機機重)

"noise emission label" (噪音標籤)
