(1)	The allowance payable under section 31(1) of the Ordinance to a 
person who serves as a juror shall be $280 in respect of each day during 
the whole or part of which he serves as a juror.

(2)	The rate of allowance which may be paid under section 31(2) of 
the Ordinance to a person who serves as a juror shall not exceed $280 in 
respect of each day during the whole or part of which he serves as a juror.
