OCEAN PARK BYLAW - SECT 39

Merry-Go-Round

(1) A person whose height is less than 107 cm shall not ride a horse on the
Merry-Go-Round without being accompanied by a standing person who has attained
the age of 15 and is of 107 cm or above in height.

(2) A person whose height is less than 107 cm shall not ride a Chariot (as
called by the Corporation) on the Merry-Go-Round without being accompanied by
another person who has attained the age of 15 and is of 107 cm or above in
height.

(3) A person who is responsible for the custody or care of a child under 1
year of age shall use his best endeavour to prevent the child from riding a
horse on the Merry-Go-Round.

(4) A person who is responsible for the custody or care of a child whose
height is less than 107 cm shall use his best endeavour to prevent the child
from riding a horse on the Merry-Go-Round without being accompanied by a
standing person who has attained the age of 15 and is of 107 cm or above in
height.

(5) A person who is responsible for the custody or care of a child whose
height is less than 107 cm shall use his best endeavour to prevent the child
from riding a Chariot (as called by the Corporation) on the Merry-Go-Round
without being accompanied by a person who has attained the age of 15 and is of
107 cm or above in height.

(6) Section 27(4) does not apply to the Merry-Go-Round.

(7) Section 27(8) does not apply to a standing person described in subsection
(1) or (4).

(8) A person who contravenes subsection (1), (2), (3), (4) or (5) commits an
offence and is liable on conviction to a fine at level 1 and to imprisonment
for 3 months.
