ROAD TRAFFIC (VILLAGE VEHICLES) REGULATIONS - REGULATION 17

Alteration to vehicle

(1) No material alteration in-

   (a)  the design or construction; or

   (b)  the equipment specified in regulation 16(1), of a village vehicle in
        respect of which a permit is issued shall be made without the written
        permission of the Commissioner.

(2) Where subregulation (1) is contravened the owner of the vehicle commits an
offence and is liable to a fine of $2000 and to imprisonment for 3 months.
