Classification of motor vehicles for issue of driving licences

PART II

DRIVING LICENCES

For the purpose of the issue of driving licences, motor vehicles shall be
divided into the following classes-

   (a)  private cars;

   (b)  taxis;

   (c)  public light buses and private light buses;

   (d)  public buses and private buses;

   (e)  light goods vehicles;

   (f)  medium goods vehicles;

   (g)  heavy goods vehicles;

   (ga) articulated vehicles; (L.N. 259 of 1984)

   (h)  special purpose vehicles;

   (i)  motor cycles; (L.N. 273 of 1989)

(ia) motor tricycles; (L.N. 273 of 1989)

   (j)  invalid carriages;

   (k)  Government vehicles. (L.N. 259 of 1984)
