Procedure on disqualification
PART IV
PROCEDURE ON DISQUALIFICATION
(1) Subject to paragraph (2), where, pursuant to section 71 of the Ordinance,
a court has forwarded to the Commissioner a driving licence of a person who
has been disqualified, the Commissioner shall withhold the driving licence
until-
(a) the expiry of the period of disqualification;
(b) the disqualification is removed under section 72 of the Ordinance; or
(c) a driving test referred to in regulation 34 is passed, as the case may
be.
(2) Where the disqualification is limited to the driving of motor vehicles of
a certain class or description, the Commissioner shall cancel the driving
licence held by that person and issue to him a driving licence limited to the
driving of motor vehicles of the class or description for which he is
qualified to drive.
