Cancellation of driving licences

(1) The Commissioner shall cancel a driving licence if the licence  holder-

   (a)  does not fulfil the conditions and requirements necessary for the
        issue of the driving licence;

   (b)  is suffering from any disease or physical disability specified in the
        First Schedule.

(2) The Commissioner may cancel a driving licence if the licence  holder
contravenes any condition of the licence.

(3) On cancellation of a driving licence the Commissioner shall give to the
person to whom the licence was issued notice of such cancellation, and such
person shall, within 72 hours after receipt of the notice, surrender his
driving licence to the Commissioner.
