Means for closing openings

The arrangement and efficiency of the means for closing each opening in
watertight bulkheads shall be consistent with its intended purpose and with
the position in which it is fitted, and shall be generally to the satisfaction
of the Surveyor of Ships. Watertight doors fitted in bulkheads between
permanent and reserve bunkers shall always be accessible except as provided in
paragraph 41(5)(c). Watertight doors shall comply with the following
requirements.
