DECLARATION OF NUMBERS OF ELECTED MEMBERS OF DISTRICT BOARDS ORDER 1994 - SECT 4

Effect of Order

(1) Subject to subsection (2), this Order shall have effect in respect of the
ordinary election of persons to act as elected members of the District Boards,
established under the Specification, next following the making of
the Specification, and not earlier.

(2) Despite subsection (1), as from the coming into operation of
the Specification, arrangements (including those in respect of the
registration of electors and the nomination of candidates) may be made or put
in hand for the purpose of the holding of the ordinary election referred to in
that subsection. (Enacted 1994)
