TRADE DESCRIPTIONS (PLACE OF MANUFACTURE)(TEXTILE MADE-UP ARTICLES) ORDER - SECT 4

Place of manufacture or production

(Past version on 01/01/2005).

The place in which all the fabrics used in the manufacture of any textile 
made-up article to which this Order applies— (9 of 2005 s. 9)

   (a)  were manufactured or produced; or

   (b)  were cut and the cut-pieces were sewn into such a textile 
        made-up article, is to be regarded, for the purposes of the Ordinance,
        as the place in which the textile made-up article has been
        manufactured or produced.
