OPTOMETRISTS (REGISTRATION AND DISCIPLINARY PROCEDURE) REGULATION - SECT 5

Entry in various parts of the register

For the purposes of section 13(4) of the Ordinance, the Secretary shall enter
the name of an optometrist-

   (a)  who holds a qualification referred to in section 4(a) or (b), in Part
        I of the register;

   (b)  who holds a qualification referred to in section 4(c) or (d), in Part
        II of the register;

   (c)  who holds a qualification referred to in section 4(e), in Part III of
        the register;

   (d)  to whom a certificate of provisional registration has been issued
        under section 15 of the Ordinance, in Part IV of the register; and

   (e)  who is qualified to be registered under section 12(1)(b) or (c) of the
        Ordinance, in that part of the register determined by the Council
        under section 12(1A) of the Ordinance. (Enacted 1994)
